An Irish national, Adrian has more than fifteen years of experience as a practising architect. In 2003, he joined the Brussels-based Secretariat of the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE), of which he became Director in 2010. Adrian is Secretary General of Efficient Buildings Europe and Campaign Director of the Renovate Europe Campaign since August 2011.

Rémi Collombet
Head of EU Policy
A French national, Rémi is a graduate both from Sciences Po Lille and the College of Europe. Before joining Efficient Buildings Europe in June 2022, he worked on EU policy for Energy Cities and Ocean Energy Europe.

Rose Hartwig-Peillon
Project Officer
Rose, a French national, joined Efficient Buildings Europe and Renovate Europe in 2023 as a Project Officer. She is mainly working on the EPBD.wise LIFE-funded project, which focuses on the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) in Central and Eastern Europe. She also supports Efficient Buildings Europe’s policy work on the decarbonisation of buildings.
Rose is a graduate from Sciences Po Aix en Provence. Before working for Efficient Buildings Europe, she worked as a researcher for the Prague-based think tank EUROPEUM and was a trainee in the European Parliament.

Afroditi Psatha
Project and Events Manager
A Greek national, Afroditi is a graduate of Ionian University (Greece) and the Institute of European Studies (Belgium) where she specialised on climate and energy policy. Prior to joining Efficient Buildings Europe in April 2021, she worked for the Irish and Greek Permanent Representations to the EU.

An Italian native, Deborah has completed her college education in Business & Marketing in Western Australia.
Before joining Efficient Buildings Europe in late 2023, she has built extensive corporate experience through marketing, events and sales related roles both in Australia and Italy.
