CEO letter to Commission President Barroso: energy efficiency in buildings – politics cannot ignore economic necessity

22 companies, including 12 CEOs, wrote to President Barroso to express concern about the lack of focus and political ambition in the negotiations on the EU Energy Efficiency Strategy, urging the College of Commissioners to show leadership and create a positive political legacy by proposing an ambitious target on energy efficiency, coupled with an unambiguous energy savings objective for the buildings sector.
