Champions Together for Renovation 2019-2024
Between 2019 and 2024, the Renovate Europe Campaign gathered MEPs, national politicians, and community and business leaders as Champions Together for Renovation: leaders who kept the energy renovation of buildings high on the political agenda. 34 MEPs from 6 political groups and 18 countries signed up.
The campaign gave Champions practical support, such as speaking notes for debates and events, policy briefings on the multiple benefits of renovation, and a wide network of contacts at European and national level. In the previous term, 2014-2019, 100 MEPs from 7 political groups and 23 Member States had signed the Renovate Europe Manifesto, “STOP Energy Waste in Buildings”.
