Efficient Buildings Europe at the webinar on building performance data for Member States

On 2 October, our Head of EU Policy, Rémi Collombet, moderated the discussion at the webinar “Turning EPBD Guidance into Practice: The Role of Building Performance Data for Member States”, organised by the EU Building Stock Observatory and the OBSERVE project.

Following the publication of the European Commission’s guidance on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive in June 2025, the webinar helped Member States translate key provisions into practical action, particularly on data infrastructure, national databases and reporting. The session covered Article 16 (data requirements), Article 22 (national databases) and Article 3 (National Building Renovation Plans), with practical examples of robust data governance and integration with EU-level tools.
