Efficient Buildings Europe at the French regions' energy working group in Brussels

In January, our EU Project and Policy Officer, Romane Faure, and our Head of EU Policy, Rémi Collombet, discussed the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) with the representations of the French regions in Brussels, at their energy working group. It was an opportunity to present our EPBD implementation guide and to discuss the specific issues at local and regional level.

We addressed the resources deployed in the regions to open one-stop shops, guarantee training courses for the skills needed for renovation, and the challenges of financing energy efficiency.

A relevant and essential discussion to ensure that the ambitions of the directive are maintained in its implementation at both national and local level.
