Efficient Buildings Europe at the Retrofit Innovation Summit
On 19 November, our Head of EU Policy, Rémi Collombet, opened the Retrofit Innovation Summit in Liège with perspectives from the EU level, after the welcome by David Lamy, President of GreenWin. It was a great opportunity to engage with local actors and discuss the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. Samuel Racanelli, Deputy Head of Cabinet of Minister Pierre-Yves Jeholet, also addressed the participants.
The first morning was built around three themes:
- Navigating uncertainty and resistance to change
- Managing renovation in occupied buildings
- Smart territories: using data to drive renovation
The two-day summit was organised by GreenWin with the support of the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) and the ReNow Strategic Innovation Initiative, with partners including Embuild Wallonie, Cluster Eco-construction, CAP Construction, Buildwise, CLIMACT, Financité, NCP Wallonie and our member VELUX.
