Joint industry statement ahead of the High level Dialogue on Energy Efficiency

Efficient Buildings Europe, together with 20 other leading European industry associations, welcomes the High-Level Dialogue on Energy Efficiency hosted by Commissioner Jørgensen on 20 May.

Our sector stands ready to invest and drive innovation to maintain Europe’s global leadership. With the right support and a stable policy framework, we can help Europe meet its goals on competitiveness, affordability, and energy security.

In our joint industry statement, we outline 5 key policy actions to unlock the full potential of energy efficiency:
🔹 Delivering a stable, long-term policy framework
🔹 Easier access to EU funding & private finance
🔹 Bridging the skills gap & growing the workforce
🔹 Accelerating electrification, efficiency & demand response
🔹 Supporting the manufacturing of energy efficiency tech

We call on Commissioner Jørgensen to advance these actions and ensure ongoing, structured engagement with industry, civil society, energy communities, national authorities, and financiers.
