The Delivery Challenge of the National Building Renovation Plans
The Renovate Europe Campaign – of which Efficient Buildings Europe is a partner – together with nine other organisations (EURIMA, European Environmental Bureau, Climate Action Network Europe, Environmental Coalition on Standards, EU.bac, EUROGYPSUM, European Heat Pump Association, Glass for Europe, PU Europe) has launched a new study on National Building Renovation Plans (NBRPs).
The study, developed by CLIMACT, focuses on six countries: Belgium-Wallonia, Denmark, Portugal, Spain, Romania and Bulgaria.
The findings highlight that these Member States have set promising targets, and the necessary technologies are already available. The main focus now lies in implementation. Strengthening delivery frameworks, investment pathways, and governance will be key to turning ambition into action.
