EPC 2.0 – Dynamic tools and approaches for ambitious energy renovations
The webinar was part of our 2021 series “Future-proof EPBD: let’s deliver beyond the Renovation Wave!”, held in the context of the European Commission’s public consultation on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
This second webinar focused on the update of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and other building information tools such as Digital Building Logbooks and Building Renovation Passports. We looked at how to make EPCs work for end-users and ensure their coherence with deep energy renovations, and discussed how to best introduce an EU framework for Building Renovation Passports and Digital Building Logbooks and integrate them with EPCs.
Presentations:
- How to deliver user-friendly EPCs to consumers? – Guillaume Joly, The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC)
- Next Generation EPCs: boosting quality and convergence of EPCs towards deeper renovations – Maike Venjakob on behalf of QualDeEPC
- How to link EPCs with building renovation passports and digital logbooks – Marta Maria Sesana on behalf of EPC-RECAST
- Creating an EU framework for Building Renovation Passports: what are the needed elements? – Marion Jammet, Irish Green Building Council
- Creating an EU framework for Digital Building Logbooks: what are the needed elements? – Sophie Dourlens-Quaranta, R2M Solution
The webinar was moderated by Adrian Joyce, Secretary General of EuroACE.
