Getting to Net-Zero: decarbonising European buildings (EUSEW 2025)

We took part in the 2025 EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) as a session co-organiser, together with EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association), INREV and RICS. The session “Getting to Net-Zero: Supporting the Clean Energy Transition by Decarbonising European Buildings”, moderated by Brett Ormrod of LaSalle, looked at how real estate is tackling its carbon footprint, energy efficiency and the EU’s net-zero targets.

The panel discussed real-world retrofit examples, regulatory challenges, emerging standards and strategies to attract private capital for sustainable non-residential buildings.
