Launch event of our EPBD implementation guide

We had a great time unveiling our Implementation Guide on the EPBD during this launch event on 12 November 2024, which brought together a dynamic group of professionals, institutional people and industry experts to discuss how to successfully implement the EPBD. 

The engaging, thought-provoking discussions were filled with insightful exchanges that truly elevated our understanding of the role of buildings’ energy efficiency in the coming years and the urgency to make it a reality.

Key messages from the event:

• Energy efficiency is beneficial to the environment but also to combat energy poverty and assure the affordability of buildings.
• Investments are crucial to boost energy efficiency in buildings and achieve EPBD targets. Both the public and private sectors must financially contribute to this shift.
• Cooperation between stakeholders is needed to successfully fulfil EPBD requirements. We need all the actors involved, from decision-makers to industries and experts, to work together to make energy efficiency in buildings a reality in the EU.
