Delivering the EPBD on the Ground: Indoor Environmental Quality

This was the fifth webinar in our series on Efficient Buildings Europe’s Implementation Guide, exploring the role of Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ).

This episode delved into how Indoor Environmental Quality contributes to healthier, more efficient buildings across Europe. Experts from both the public and private sectors shared their insights on how improving indoor conditions supports wellbeing, productivity, and climate goals.

We took a closer look at the key elements that define IEQ, from air quality and thermal comfort to lighting and acoustics, and examined how innovation, regulation, and data are shaping the next generation of building design and management. With diverse perspectives and real-world examples, the discussion highlighted how better indoor environments benefit both people and the climate.
